This is a series of works on literature. Each image is rebuilt by the letters of the text in the original language of some of the most important works by the authors I loved, such as Dostoevsky, Marquez, Böll, Celine and many others. The image contains the whole text and represents a sort of wide-open book. I have been working on this idea for about 4 years, always postponing the realization. At first I was – and still I am – thinking about painting this artworks. It would take me about 6 months to achieve the same results by painting. Then I thought that serigraphy was the best way to reduce the time needed. Digital has not being considered because not handcrafted.
