This series of works is on conservation and abandon. We create, build, buy things we easily and quickly forget or throw away. We don’t care about them anymore. But we should! That’s what we are leaving to our children: forgotten memories destined to be remembered for their uselessness or for their dangerousness.
I affixed billboards of undisputed masterpieces on these abandoned bathroom fixtures plant walls in the outskirts of Milan and then took some photographs of them in order to testify, by contrast and matting, how most part of our heritage and assets lay forgotten and decaying because of our incapacity or unwilling to preserve them.
