“… Is this the world we created we made it on our own
Is this the world we devastated Right to the bone?
If there’s a God in the sky looking down
What can he think of what we’ve done
To the world that he created…”
“My personal holy family” is a work that arose from some reflections. The first one is my strong belief that one day not so far away, we will be forced to dress up like “My personal holy family“, wearing masks, safety glasses, gloves, in order to protect us from UV rays, pollution, radiations and what else our Mother Earth will give us as a payback for what we did to Her. The second one is about my family. My brother is a monk and my family has always had, for all the people in our little village, a sort of holy aura, thanks to this holy presence in our life. I felt like Saint Antony because of this “holiness”, but realized I couldn’t talk to animals and couldn’t walk barefoot! And then, the last one: My personal holy family is my family before me. You can see three children out of four. The fourth one is – will be – me. But the family has been frozen before that moment. And if I were not born?
